Working towards a world without waste is something you do together. That’s why we are very proud of our collaboration with Niaga®, Pfleiderer and PreZero. As chain partners, we developed a wood fiber board that is 100% circular and 100% made from waste streams. The table top is also equipped with the Niaga® click-unclick technology which allows us to endlessly reuse your desk or table top and even your locker door: Circuboard. What is different is that with this application we can completely separate the core and the top layer. This allows us to preserve valuable materials for future generations. Scan the QR code of your desk or table top and you will immediately see the corresponding product passport. Here you will also find how to return the product the Niaga® technology to us at the end of their useful life.

What’s inside?

To find out how sustainable and circular a product is, you need to know which raw materials have been used to make it. For this, we have created a product passport so all the suppliers of our raw materials are identified. We find it important that the whole supply chain is as local as possible. That’s why all our partners come from Western Europe and have signed an agreement to detail where the materials originate from.

Circuboard is made of natural wood fibers obtained from residual streams. These residual streams consist of 15% forestry residues, 35% is sawing waste from wood industry and 50% is post-consumer wood residues. The ‘standard’ binder has largely been replaced by a biogenic binder based on proteins and can be completely reused in the standard production process. In the product passport you will find many more details about the product and the raw materials used to make it.

How to return

Niaga is the mirror word for “again”. In fact, we can use Circuboard again and again and again. Or rather, it can be reused infinitely. That is why we want the furniture back at the end of its life.
